Huntley, Brailey Lenderman Battle in The Voice Early Release
Niall Horan paired up his artists Huntley and Brailey Lenderman in a Battle to “Hold My Hand.” Both singers showed off powerful voices in the impressive performance. They even wore coordinating braids in their hair!
In the Blind Auditions, Huntley turned all four coaches’ chairs almost simultaneously with his performance of “She Talks to Angels” by The Black Crowes. He ultimately chose to join Team Niall. Now he’s fighting to stay on that team.
In her Blind Audition, Brailey performed “If It Makes You Happy” by Sheryl Crow, inspiring both Horan and Gwen Stefani to turn their chairs around. Ultimately, Brailey chose to join Horan’s team. Will she stay there after her Battle?

What Did the Coaches Think of Their Performance?
All four coaches gave Huntley and Brailey a standing ovation for their Battle. Stefani said she “was not expecting that.” She told Brailey that she has “an incredible tone and power.” Meanwhile, she predicted that Huntley might win the entire show.
John Legend pointed out the singers’ matching braids. He said Brailey made the song “feel fresh,” but he added that there’s “something special” about Huntley, complimenting the “crackle in your voice.”
Reba McEntire said she was “envious” that she didn’t get to sing with them. She said she heard “a few pitchy things” in Brailey’s performance, but she called Huntley a “force of nature on stage.”
Horan told the artists that it was “by far the best you’ve done it.” He complimented Huntley’s stage presence, while telling Brailey that she didn’t seem nervous for this performance. Which artist will he choose as the winner? We’ll have to wait until Monday’s new episode to find out.
